Two Shaven Heads – Nick Toczek & Imani Hekima

Nick Toczek, a wicked words favourite and simply one of the finest performance poets there is, a slick magician, an accomplished stand up comic, a stylish vocalist and a professional puppeteer. Imani Hekima is a singer songwriter and pianist who purveys a uniquely smooth combination of nu-soul and jazz. One of the most promising unsigned artists in the North and one of the regions most refreshing musicians....think 21st century Stevie Wonder meets the son of Curtis Mayfield. His songs are articulate and topical, with musical depth and memorable hook lines...Now blend Nick and Imani for a one man show that's political, funny, moving, entrancing, anarchic, original and amazing. A full on two man variety show.

"The most exciting and visual performer we have this side of Benjamin Zephaniah" NME about Nick Toczek

Plus Open mic – please book in advance if possible
